 Maxi Dress: H&M
Sandals: Banana Republic
Bag: Thrift Store

With fall fast approaching I’ve been thinking of ways to mix-and-match my summer wardrobe so I can continue to wear some of my favorite summer clothes long through the fall and winter seasons. Maxi dresses are easy to pick up this time of year and always go on sale at the end of summer. In the summer you can pair your maxi with some daring accessories and cute sandals. For an easy fall transition try pairing your dress with some leather boots and a scarf, add some fall themed accessories to finish off the look. I got this dress at H&M for an amazing deal during their summer sale. Palm Trees for Summer!!

Leather Jacket: Zara
Dress: H&M
Heels: Aldo
Clutch: Thrift Store

I’m super excited about this look because not only do I have palm trees on my dress but I also got it for $4! H&M is having a huge summer sale right now. I also scored a maxi dress for $15 I’ll make sure to do a post on it real soon. Recently I changed up my style a bit. My eye is naturally drawn to color and print but as I’m getting older I feel like wearing to much color and print can make me come off as child like. As a result I started wearing a lot of dull colors and simple designs. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed it but I felt like I wasn’t staying true to myself. What I found that works for me is mixing a bold print or color with black or simple structured pieces to give the look a chic and polish vibe. In this look I mixed this fit and flare palm tree dress (which before I would of found child like) with a black leather jacket and a polish bun to mature the dress a bit. This style tip helped me work in some of my favorite colors and patterns while keeping my look mature and polish! Here are a few photos of my look. Enjoy!!

“Retro Night” at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Jumper: Forever 21
Necklace\Bracelet\Sunnies: H&M
Bag: Thrifted
Sandals: Banana Republic

I had such a blast last night! My family and I decided to hit up Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk for a little family fun and boy did we achieve it. Monday and Tuesday nights after 5pm at the boardwalk they have this event called “Retro Night” it’s where they bring it back to the 90s with all 90s prices. Rides, Hot Dogs, Sodas and Cotton Candy are all $1 each. It couldn’t have been a more perfect night the weather was in the high 70s all night long and the lines for the rides weren’t to packed so we were able to go on rides over and over again. My favorite ride is the Giant Dipper we must have gone on it 3 times (I wanted to go more). I was finally able to try the infamous deep fried Twinkies and deep fried Oreos and boy was it unhealthy but good lol. If you guys haven’t I suggest you hit up Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk this summer and with events like “Retro Night” happening how could you not at those prices.

As for my outfit I wanted to wear something that was cozy but suitable enough for an amusement park. This jumper is made out of slinky cotton so it allows me to move around easily and it’s light so I can wear it in warm weather. Before I went to Santa Cruz I was at work, so when styling this jumper I kept it sleek and polish for work but at the same time kept in mind Santa Cruz. Below are some photos of this look and my night at Santa Cruz. Enjoy!

My whole outfit is from Banana Republic!
Photos by a fellow blogger Zoha check out her blog! http://www.poshtoganache.com

Today was such a beautiful day in my lovely city of San Francisco! … I recently got invite to an event for an app called SHOP MAVATAR. While I was there I met another San Francisco Blogger Zoha who has a fashion and food blog called Posh To Ganache. We decided to have a little “Blogger Date” today and go out for brunch at the Ferry Building and have a little photo shoot session. We couldn’t have picked a better day because the weather was perfectly warm with a little breeze. This was my first time doing a shoot with another blogger and I really enjoyed it. I defiantly want to start linking up with bloggers from the Bay area and start going on “Blogger Dates”.  Meeting people who have similar interests as you is always a good thing especially living in San Francisco where the Fashion Industry isn’t huge it’s always good to build connections. So if you happen to be reading this and you too have a blog and would love to join me for a “Blogger Date” feel free to hit me up so we can schedule something.

As for my outfit I was going for a chic polish look. Below are some more photos of this look plus some pictures from my “Blogger Date”.

Hi Loves! Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. I just recently got back from a camping trip with my church and about 3 others. I had such a great time meeting new people and doing all kinds of different activities like Zip-lining (best experience ever). I’m hoping to plan a vacation by August if everything works out. Anyways, for this look I wore it to my mother’s birthday dinner at Picaro’s Tapas Restaurant in the Mission, San Francisco. This restaurant is one of my favorites, it’s a tapas Spanish restaurant meaning that they serve small plates. For my moms birthday I wanted to wear a dress but at the same time remain casual because the restaurant we were going to is laid back. So I decided to pair a Maxi dress with a Leather Motor Jacket for a chic laid back look. Below are a few more pictures enjoy!

Sincerely,
Celina Marie

Hey everyone summer is finally here!
I know its been a while since my last blog post, but I was super busy with finals week and my work schedule got really hectic. But I’m back now and promise to post a lot more. This week I am going to be in Disneyland with my sister and her kids. We left today and we made a pit stop to grab something to eat before we continued on the road to L.A. So I thought it would be the perfect time to take pictures of what I wore on this road trip. I decided to wear a slinky maxi skirt and tucked in a white tank. This outfit is comfortable enough for the car ride and the fabric is light enough for the warm weather as we enter L.A. As for accessories I added my turquoise necklace and gladiator sandals to make more of a summer statement. This week I will also be posting what I am wearing to both Disneyland and California Adventures.

“S/S with Peter Pilotto for Target”

DSCN1901

Dress: Peter Pilotto for Target
Belt/Sunglasses/love Knot earrings: Forever21
Bag: Charlotte Russe
Heels: Zara

A beautiful day it was! Here in San Francisco we don’t get many days when the weather reaches 80 degrees, but today it reached well over. I swear I’m lovin this weather  so much because it finally gives me the opportunity to pull out my dresses that have been hiding in my closet. When Peter Pilotto’s line came out back in February I bought three pieces from his collection. One sweater which I wore many times and two dresses (one dress I wore in NYC). But this dress I haven’t had the chance to wear it yet so when I found out it was going to be warm I pulled it out my closet.

Today I had work, a meeting then school, since I was going to be busy all day with “business” I decided to style this dress a bit more professional. I like to think that I channeled my inner Audrey Hepburn and styled this dress base on how she would wear it. Since Audrey was known for being conservative and classy I decided to go with all black accessories, from my shoes to my sunglasses.  I put my hair in a bun and added my favorite pair of gold love knots to get her classic “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” look.

As for my bag I want to go into detail about it. I bought this bag at Charlotte Russe for around 35$.  What made me decided to buy it is that it is two purses in one! It can be a day bag on it’s own but by pulling the front envelope out it simply turns into a clutch. Taking you from meetings to martinis in seconds!
